Laurie worked on the GFHS study team during the 2014-2015 academic year as part of a 4th year research course. She was involved with data entry and analysis of the food records of the children enrolled in the study and her project focused on fruit and vegetable intake and distribution. She graduated in the spring of 2015 with a major in Biomedical Science and a minor in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences. She is moving to France in the fall of 2015 to begin a two-year master’s degree in food security and food quality.
