Research Assistant, University of Guelph, Human Health & Nutritional Sciences
Angela’s role as Research Assistant involved helping the Study Coordinator to gather data from families and bring the gut microbiome (poop collection!) aspect of the study into action.
Her favorite memory working with the GFHS team is the evening before her first day at work when daughter got sick with a tummy bug at 11pm. She realized she would be calling in sick on the first day of her new job!! Fortunately, the GFHS team is all about family and it made for a funny story at the office rather than a stressful situation.
