The goal is to better understand the effects of fats throughout the lifecycle from the early beginnings of life to old age in both the prevention and treatment of disease. His current research is focused on studying the role of omega-3 fatty acids in breast cancer prevention. Past research and collaborations have also included studies related to fats in brain health, fatty liver disease, lupus, bone health and inflammation.
